The University of the Philippines Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS) invites UP student organizations to Beyond Belonging: A Workshop on Making Student Organizations Safe Spaces on 2 March 2026 (Monday), 1:30-4:30 PM at the UPCWGS Conference Room.
This workshop is a rerun of the session previously conducted as part of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) and is officially endorsed by the UP Diliman Office of Student Projects and Activities (OSPA). If you are part of a student organization and want to help make your spaces more supportive, inclusive, and safe for everyone, this session is definitely for you.
We will be talking about:
- What gender-based violence (GBV) looks like in student organizations and classrooms
- How to recognize and respond to GBV
- Practical ways to improve your organization’s policies and create a more caring community
Each organization may send 1-2 representatives. Snacks are on us!
