
The Kalinga Day Care Center (KDCC) of the University of the Philippines Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS) is now accepting applications for children aged 2.0 to 4.11 years old (by 1 August 2026).
Application Process
1. Fill out the KDCC Application Form.
2. Print the completed application form sent to your email.
3. Prepare the requirements:
a. Long brown envelope
b. Completed application form
c. Two (2) recent 1″ x 1″ photos of child
d. Photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-issued birth certificate of child
e. Medical certificate of child (indicating that the child is fit to go to school)
Additional requirements for UP personnel and UP students:
f. Personnel: 2026 certification of employment of parent/grandparent issued by the UP HRDO
g. Student: Current certification of registration and/or copy of Form 5
4. Place all requirements in a long brown envelope with the child’s name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial) on the upper left corner of the back of the envelope. Write “Year 2026-2027” below the child’s name.
5. Submit the requirements to the KDCC on the following dates:
22 June 2026 (Monday): start of submission of requirements for UP dependents
24 June 2026 (Wednesday): start of submission of requirements for non-UP dependents

Submissions will follow the first come, first served basis.
The KDCC does not have a deadline for submission of requirements. Application is open throughout the year.
Dates to Remember for New Applicants
5 June 2026 (Friday): release of online application form
22 June 2026 (Monday): start of submission of requirements for UP dependents
24 June 2026 (Wednesday): start of submission of requirements for non-UP dependents
For those who are interested to apply and have submitted the application form previously for Year 2025-2026, please resubmit the application form and requirements.
The KDCC will not accept incomplete requirements or online submissions of requirements.
