As part of its Women’s Month activities, the University of the Philippines Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS), in partnership with the UP Center for Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. (UPCWSFI); the Philippine Blood Center (PBC) of the Department of Health (DOH); Guardians Social Action Force, Inc. (GSAFI); and Persons with Disabilities in Barangay UP Campus Association (PWD-BUPCA), Inc., held the Bigay Dugo, Sagip Buhay: A Bloodletting Drive for the UP Community on 12 March 2026 at the UPCWGS Conference Room. The event brought together partners and donors in a shared mission to ensure an adequate blood supply for their immediate family members. The initiative welcomed 69 participants, half of whom were successful donors.
