The University of the Philippines Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS), in partnership with FriendlyCare Foundation, Inc. through the UP Center for Women’s Studies Foundation, Inc. (UPCWSFI) held another free Birth Control Implant & Removal and Breast Examination initiative on 4 September 2026 at the UPCWGS Conference Room. Of the 70 confirmed registrants and walk-in clients, 49 received a clinical breast exam and 43 underwent implant procedures.
Initiatives like this help make essential reproductive health services more accessible, especially for those who may face barriers to accessing care.
